Home Leaving

September was a crazy month for us. We started deputation full time, put our house on the market , had an estate sale, and the kids and Nathan started school back up. In our spare time (yes, that was supposed to be a joke) we continued with remodeling the 5th wheel that we was given so that it will fit the family. Before we left we had our new truck not start, we shattered the back window of the truck with the camper, the camper slide went out one night when we hooked up but the bed decided not to go with it, and Nathan drove the neighbor’s mower (that he borrowed since we had already had the estate sale) over the side of the yard and into a tree. Lisa had to give up her dog because there is just not room for a great dane that thinks that she is a lap dog in the camper, and Makayla’s dog had a neurological issue where he was loosing control of the back end of his body and he passed. We are praying that we have gotten all of the kinks worked out and are very thankful that all of this happened at home where we had people from our church to help us. We are needing prayers for our home to sell and for getting used to life in the trailer when we were used to everyone having their own room.

Deputation

In September we were in 8 churches and were in New Mexico, Texas, and Ohio. October started in in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan before we will head to Missouri and back to Texas before ending the month in Kentucky. We have met many wonderful people in our time so far and it has been wonderful to see how many churches there are that are serving God and love missions.  As we travel we have many opportunities to talk with new people. Especially when we are in campgrounds we have opportunities to meet new people and our reason for being there makes it easy to talk with people about their spiritual condition. Please pray with us that we will be able to see God use these opportunities to see people saved!
